Muslim wedding photography in Aberdeen, capturing the nikah, the mehndi and the walima with calm, respectful, storytelling coverage and fine-art albums.
Serving Aberdeen
Looking for a Muslim wedding photographer in Aberdeen? Aberdeen is the granite city, with grand venues. We photograph Muslim weddings across Dyce, Cults and Bridge of Don, at mosques, banqueting halls and marquees, covering the nikah and walima with sensitivity and respect.
Whether it is an intimate nikah or a grand walima of several hundred guests, we cover every event with sensitivity and an instinct for the moments that matter. We are London-based and travel across Scotland and the wider region for Muslim weddings. Nikah and walima celebrations are a speciality and distance is never a problem.

What we offer
Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Indian, Arab and mixed Muslim weddings, with the customs understood.
From the mehndi to the walima, told as one flowing story.
Beautifully bound albums and fine prints designed around your favourite images.
Every tradition
A Muslim wedding is built around the nikah, the marriage contract, and we photograph it with all the dignity it deserves. We are familiar with the signing of the nikah-nama, the giving of the mahr and the ijab-e-qubool, the words of acceptance.
Around it sit the mangni, the mehndi with its henna and music, and the warmth of the walima hosted by the groom's family. We know when to step in close and when to stand quietly back, in Aberdeen and wherever you marry.

The whole celebration
We plan our coverage around the shape of your wedding. Many celebrations begin with the mangni and mehndi, move through the nikah, and build to the walima reception over one or more days.
Whatever your schedule, we arrive in good time, stay late and work discreetly so every event is photographed properly. For segregated or multi-venue days in Aberdeen a second photographer makes sure nothing is missed.
Why choose us
Twenty-five years of experience and more than a thousand weddings mean nothing about a nikah or walima surprises us. In Aberdeen we anticipate every moment and photograph it discreetly, never intruding on a sacred or private one.

Where we travel
Although we are London-based, a large share of our work takes us out across Scotland and beyond. Aberdeen and the surrounding areas of Dyce, Cults and Bridge of Don are very familiar to us, and we factor in travel and timings so we are always in the right place when it matters.

Good to know
Popular dates in Aberdeen book up well ahead, so we recommend enquiring as early as you can. Tell us your nikah and walima dates and we will confirm availability straight away.
Where a family prefers it for the bridal or segregated events, we will do our best to arrange a suitable second photographer. Just let us know your wishes when you enquire.
Yes, where the mosque permits photography. We are always respectful of the setting and discreet during the nikah itself.
You will receive a small preview soon after the wedding, with your full edited gallery and album to follow. A Muslim wedding produces thousands of frames, so careful editing takes a little time and is well worth the wait.
It depends on the size of your celebration. Many weddings are covered beautifully by one photographer, but for large multi-event days in Aberdeen we bring a second so two places at once are always covered.
