The Nikah and Walima
From the signing of the nikah-nama to the joy of the walima, we know the events and their order.
Looking for a Muslim wedding photographer in Tring? We photograph Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Indian and Arab Muslim weddings, the nikah, the rukhsati and the walima, with hand-finished albums.
Serving Tring
As a Muslim wedding photographer working in Tring, Tring is a Chilterns market town with country-house venues, and we travel throughout Berkhamsted, Wendover and Aylesbury for nikah and walima celebrations, photographing the ritual, the joy and the quiet family moments alike.
Whether it is an intimate nikah or a grand walima of several hundred guests, we cover every event with sensitivity and an instinct for the moments that matter. We are London-based and travel across Hertfordshire and the wider region for Muslim weddings. Nikah and walima celebrations are a speciality and distance is never a problem.

What we offer
From the signing of the nikah-nama to the joy of the walima, we know the events and their order.
We photograph sensitively, mindful of segregated celebrations and each family's customs.
Hand-finished albums that hold the whole story of your celebration.
Every tradition
A Muslim wedding is built around the nikah, the marriage contract, and we photograph it with all the dignity it deserves. We are familiar with the signing of the nikah-nama, the giving of the mahr and the ijab-e-qubool, the words of acceptance.
Around it sit the mangni, the mehndi with its henna and music, and the warmth of the walima hosted by the groom's family. We know when to step in close and when to stand quietly back, in Tring and wherever you marry.

The whole celebration
We plan our coverage around the shape of your wedding. Many celebrations begin with the mangni and mehndi, move through the nikah, and build to the walima reception over one or more days.
Whatever your schedule, we arrive in good time, stay late and work discreetly so every event is photographed properly. For segregated or multi-venue days in Tring a second photographer makes sure nothing is missed.
Why choose us
Twenty-five years of experience and more than a thousand weddings mean nothing about a nikah or walima surprises us. In Tring we anticipate every moment and photograph it discreetly, never intruding on a sacred or private one.
We are London-based and travel across Hertfordshire and the wider region for Muslim weddings. Nikah and walima celebrations are a speciality and distance is never a problem.

Where we travel
For couples in Tring, working with a photographer who travels widely is an advantage, not a complication. We know Hertfordshire well, including Berkhamsted, Wendover and Aylesbury, and we are glad to discuss your mosques, banqueting halls and marquees and the route between them in advance so the day runs smoothly.

Good to know
Yes. We travel to Tring and across Hertfordshire for nikah and walima celebrations. Muslim weddings are a speciality and distance is never a problem.
Yes. We are very used to working sensitively at segregated weddings and, where it helps, can arrange a second photographer so both sides of the celebration are properly covered.
Absolutely. We regularly cover the mangni, mehndi, nikah and walima across several days in Tring, with additional photographers for the largest celebrations.
You will receive a small preview soon after the wedding, with your full edited gallery and album to follow. A Muslim wedding produces thousands of frames, so careful editing takes a little time and is well worth the wait.
It depends on the size of your celebration. Many weddings are covered beautifully by one photographer, but for large multi-event days in Tring we bring a second so two places at once are always covered.
