Storytelling Coverage
Calm, unobtrusive photography that captures the real emotion of the day, not just the poses.
Documentary-style Sikh wedding photography in Biggleswade, covering the milni, the kirtan, the four laavan and the lively reception with elegance and care.
Serving Biggleswade
Biggleswade is a market town on the river Ivel. We photograph Sikh weddings throughout Sandy, Shefford and Bedford, telling the full story from the maiyan and chunni to the laavan, the doli and the reception.
From the maiyan and mehndi to the Anand Karaj and the reception, we document the whole celebration with a calm, unobtrusive eye, always respectful of the gurdwara. We are London-based and travel across Bedfordshire and the wider region for Sikh weddings. The Anand Karaj and its celebrations are a speciality and distance is never a problem.

What we offer
Calm, unobtrusive photography that captures the real emotion of the day, not just the poses.
Extra shooters for large celebrations so the milni, the ceremony and the reception are all covered.
Hand-finished albums, wall art and prints, crafted to last for generations.
Every tradition
No two Sikh families keep their customs in quite the same way, and we photograph yours as you keep them. From the roka and kurmai to the chunni, the maiyan and the vatna, we follow each event closely and respectfully.
We are used to the emotion of the doli as the bride leaves, the joy of the langar and the music of the sangeet, and we cover them all without ever getting in the way. It is something we have done for couples across Bedfordshire for many years.

The whole celebration
The finest Sikh wedding photographs are spread right across the celebration, not saved for the Anand Karaj alone. The maiyan and sangeet often hold the warmest moments, and the milni sets the tone for the day.
We document the baraat, the four laavan, the doli and the reception with the same attention, telling the full story from first event to last. In Biggleswade we are glad to cover a single day or the whole celebration.

Good to know
Yes. We travel to Biggleswade and across Bedfordshire for the Anand Karaj and its celebrations. Sikh weddings are a speciality and distance is never a problem.
Completely. We cover our heads, remove our shoes, never turn our backs to the Guru Granth Sahib and move quietly during the laavan, so the Anand Karaj is photographed with full respect.
Absolutely. We regularly cover the maiyan, mehndi, sangeet, the Anand Karaj and the reception across several days in Biggleswade, with additional photographers for the largest celebrations.
It depends on the size of your celebration. Many weddings are covered beautifully by one photographer, but for large multi-event days in Biggleswade we bring a second so two places at once are always covered.
You will receive a small preview soon after the wedding, with your full edited gallery and album to follow. A Sikh wedding produces thousands of frames, so careful editing takes a little time and is well worth the wait.
