Storytelling Coverage
Calm, unobtrusive photography that captures the real devotion and emotion of the day.
Tamil wedding photographer serving Berkhamsted. Storytelling coverage of every South Indian ritual, from the early-morning muhurtham to the nalangu, with twenty-five years of experience.
Serving Berkhamsted
Berkhamsted is a pretty Chilterns market town, and we love photographing Tamil weddings here. Across Hemel Hempstead, Tring and Chesham we cover the muhurtham, the maalai maatral and the thali ceremony with a careful, respectful eye.
From the nichayathartham and the mehndi to the muhurtham and the reception, we document the whole celebration with a calm, unobtrusive eye. We are London-based and travel across Hertfordshire and the wider region for Tamil weddings. South Indian celebrations are a speciality and distance is never a problem.

What we offer
Calm, unobtrusive photography that captures the real devotion and emotion of the day.
Extra shooters for large celebrations so no ritual or family moment is missed.
Hand-finished albums, wall art and prints, crafted to last for generations.
Every tradition
We photograph the sacred and the joyful with equal care. From the paalikai and nalangu to the saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, every South Indian ritual has its place in the story we tell.
We understand the rhythm set by the muhurtham, the auspicious hour, and we move quietly around the priests and the homam fire so the ceremony is captured without ever intruding on it, in Berkhamsted and wherever you marry.

The whole celebration
A Tamil wedding rarely fits into a single afternoon, and we love that. The celebration often begins the day before with the nichayathartham and a mehndi, the henna and laughter of the women around the bride.
The wedding morning then arrives early with the muhurtham, the kashi yatra, the garland exchange, the oonjal and the thali ceremony, followed by the reception. We can photograph a single key event or several days, and for the largest celebrations in Berkhamsted we bring a second photographer.
Why choose us
Twenty-five years of experience and more than a thousand weddings mean nothing about a South Indian wedding surprises us. In Berkhamsted we anticipate the kanyadaanam, the thali tying and the saptapadi, and capture each without ever getting in the way.
We are London-based and travel across Hertfordshire and the wider region for Tamil weddings. South Indian celebrations are a speciality and distance is never a problem.

Where we travel
Although we are London-based, a large share of our work takes us out across Hertfordshire and beyond. Berkhamsted and the surrounding areas of Hemel Hempstead, Tring and Chesham are very familiar to us, and we factor in travel and timings so we are always in the right place when it matters.
