Storytelling Coverage
Calm, unobtrusive photography that captures the real devotion and emotion of the day.
Documentary-style Tamil wedding photography in Biggleswade, covering the kashi yatra, the garland exchange and the sacred muhurtham with elegance and care.
Serving Biggleswade
Biggleswade is a market town on the river Ivel. We photograph Tamil weddings throughout Sandy, Shefford and Bedford, telling the full story from the kashi yatra and oonjal to the saptapadi and the reception.
From the nichayathartham and the mehndi to the muhurtham and the reception, we document the whole celebration with a calm, unobtrusive eye. We are London-based and travel across Bedfordshire and the wider region for Tamil weddings. South Indian celebrations are a speciality and distance is never a problem.

What we offer
Calm, unobtrusive photography that captures the real devotion and emotion of the day.
Extra shooters for large celebrations so no ritual or family moment is missed.
Hand-finished albums, wall art and prints, crafted to last for generations.
Every tradition
No two Tamil families keep their customs in quite the same way, and we photograph yours as you keep them. Whether your ceremony follows Iyer, Iyengar or another South Indian tradition, we follow the rituals closely and respectfully.
We are used to the early-morning muhurtham, the music of the nadaswaram and thavil, and the tenderness of the moment the mangalsutra is tied, and we cover them all without getting in the way. It is something we have done for couples across Bedfordshire for many years.

The whole celebration
The finest Tamil wedding photographs are spread right across the celebration, not saved for the muhurtham alone. The nichayathartham and mehndi often hold the warmest moments, and the early-morning preparations set the tone for everything that follows.
We document the kashi yatra, the oonjal, the thali ceremony and the reception with the same attention, telling the full story from first event to last. In Biggleswade we are glad to cover a single day or the whole celebration.

Good to know
Yes. We travel to Biggleswade and across Bedfordshire for Tamil and South Indian weddings. They are a speciality and distance is never a problem.
Very much so. We know the auspicious hour sets the pace of a Tamil wedding, and we arrive early so the kanyadaanam, the thali tying and the saptapadi are all captured calmly and on time.
Absolutely. We regularly cover the nichayathartham, mehndi, the wedding muhurtham and the reception in Biggleswade, with additional photographers for the largest celebrations.
It depends on the size of your celebration. Many weddings are covered beautifully by one photographer, but for large multi-event days in Biggleswade we bring a second so two places at once are always covered.
You will receive a small preview soon after the wedding, with your full edited gallery and album to follow. A Tamil wedding produces thousands of frames, so careful editing takes a little time and is well worth the wait.
