Faith and Tradition
Familiar with Iyer, Iyengar and South Indian customs, we keep to the timings and respect the sacred moments.
Tamil wedding photography in Egham, capturing the muhurtham, the maalai maatral and the tying of the thali with calm, storytelling coverage and fine-art albums.
Serving Egham
As a Tamil wedding photographer working in Egham, Egham is near Royal Holloway and grand Surrey venues, and we travel throughout Staines, Virginia Water and Windsor for South Indian celebrations, photographing the nadaswaram, the rituals and the quiet family moments alike.
We move quietly through the day, from the early-morning preparations to the last dance, so the story of your Tamil wedding is told in full. We are London-based and travel across Surrey and the wider region for Tamil weddings. South Indian celebrations are a speciality and distance is never a problem.

What we offer
Familiar with Iyer, Iyengar and South Indian customs, we keep to the timings and respect the sacred moments.
From the morning muhurtham to the reception, told as one flowing story.
Beautifully bound albums and fine prints designed around your favourite images.
Every tradition
No two Tamil families keep their customs in quite the same way, and we photograph yours as you keep them. Whether your ceremony follows Iyer, Iyengar or another South Indian tradition, we follow the rituals closely and respectfully.
We are used to the early-morning muhurtham, the music of the nadaswaram and thavil, and the tenderness of the moment the mangalsutra is tied, and we cover them all without getting in the way. It is something we have done for couples across Surrey for many years.

The whole celebration
The finest Tamil wedding photographs are spread right across the celebration, not saved for the muhurtham alone. The nichayathartham and mehndi often hold the warmest moments, and the early-morning preparations set the tone for everything that follows.
We document the kashi yatra, the oonjal, the thali ceremony and the reception with the same attention, telling the full story from first event to last. In Egham we are glad to cover a single day or the whole celebration.
Why choose us
Twenty-five years of experience and more than a thousand weddings mean nothing about a South Indian wedding surprises us. In Egham we anticipate the kanyadaanam, the thali tying and the saptapadi, and capture each without ever getting in the way.

Where we travel
Although we are London-based, a large share of our work takes us out across Surrey and beyond. Egham and the surrounding areas of Staines, Virginia Water and Windsor are very familiar to us, and we factor in travel and timings so we are always in the right place when it matters.

Good to know
Yes. We have photographed South Indian weddings across Surrey and the wider region for many years, at temples, mandapams and banqueting venues alike.
Yes. We photograph Iyer, Iyengar and other South Indian Tamil traditions, and are familiar with the differences in their rituals and order of events.
Of course. We regularly photograph fusion and mixed-faith weddings in Egham, blending South Indian traditions with another family's customs with care.
It depends on the size of your celebration. Many weddings are covered beautifully by one photographer, but for large multi-event days in Egham we bring a second so two places at once are always covered.
You will receive a small preview soon after the wedding, with your full edited gallery and album to follow. A Tamil wedding produces thousands of frames, so careful editing takes a little time and is well worth the wait.
