Faith and Tradition
Familiar with Iyer, Iyengar and South Indian customs, we keep to the timings and respect the sacred moments.
Tamil wedding photography in Sandhurst, capturing the muhurtham, the maalai maatral and the tying of the thali with calm, storytelling coverage and fine-art albums.
Serving Sandhurst
Sandhurst is a Berkshire town near the military academy, and we love photographing Tamil weddings here. Across Camberley, Crowthorne and Yateley we cover the muhurtham, the maalai maatral and the thali ceremony with a careful, respectful eye.
From the nichayathartham and the mehndi to the muhurtham and the reception, we document the whole celebration with a calm, unobtrusive eye. We are London-based and travel across Berkshire and the wider region for Tamil weddings. South Indian celebrations are a speciality and distance is never a problem.

What we offer
Familiar with Iyer, Iyengar and South Indian customs, we keep to the timings and respect the sacred moments.
From the morning muhurtham to the reception, told as one flowing story.
Beautifully bound albums and fine prints designed around your favourite images.
Every tradition
We photograph the sacred and the joyful with equal care. From the paalikai and nalangu to the saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, every South Indian ritual has its place in the story we tell.
We understand the rhythm set by the muhurtham, the auspicious hour, and we move quietly around the priests and the homam fire so the ceremony is captured without ever intruding on it, in Sandhurst and wherever you marry.

The whole celebration
A Tamil wedding rarely fits into a single afternoon, and we love that. The celebration often begins the day before with the nichayathartham and a mehndi, the henna and laughter of the women around the bride.
The wedding morning then arrives early with the muhurtham, the kashi yatra, the garland exchange, the oonjal and the thali ceremony, followed by the reception. We can photograph a single key event or several days, and for the largest celebrations in Sandhurst we bring a second photographer.
